I'm working on a little bio that details my credentials for hosting this blog. It's a little confusing. I can remember back when I was much smarter. At the age of 16 I knew everything. I mean--really! I just can't understand why I'm so confused about the world today.
Money, romance, politics, science--I mean there wasn't anything I didn't know at one time. It's amazing how my brain cells seem to have shut down over the years. I'm really very hopeful though. We are born sweet and pure. We learn, we grow. We tip toe through childhood, cruise through young adulthood, and now--clink and clank in fits and starts though the confusing twilight of life.
About the only thing that keeps me hopeful is the second childhood everyone says we will go through. If this is true, then I can't wait till I hit 16 again, when I'll once again know everything!
If you're lucky you'll be here the day that happens. Maybe I'll reveal the true meaning of life, or the great mystery of why there is no lint in a blue tailed lizards belly button. Bet you wonder how I know that...
