A Really Radical Thought for the President

I just had a really radical thought for President Obama.  First I'll say that I've always been an ultra conservative republican.  Not a teabagger by any means.  I've also always recognized that the president is only one part of the government.  Congress makes the laws and sets the route for our country.  Of course the president has a lot of input in this, but it's congress who gives the president the stick.  How he uses the stick is up to him.  It's no secret to anybody that the country is in really bad shape.  So what do our politicians do while the country goes to hell?  Campaign....
It would be an incredibly refreshing thing to hear President Obama say, "...you know what?  I'm through wasting my time campaigning.  I'm through trying to smooth the feathers of special interest groups.  I'm through trying to appease the rich, our congress, and all others who don't have the best interests of this country at heart.  From now on I'm just going to work hard and do the best I can to get this country back on track. No more campaigning!  I'll do the best I can.  The people of this country deserve that from all of us.  I'm going to do it."
Radical thought...huh?
